How do you like this idea for a fanfic: Actions will take place six months after volume 19, the Dark Ages are coming to the world of Orario, A secret organization that wants to create a new order in the world is plotting a mystery that involves overthrowing the gods from Hekai, the main villain will be the Spirit, who lives for more than 5 thousand years, who is pretending, who stole the human body of an adventurer who lived 200 years, who was the founders of Rivira (as for why this devil took the body, I just think we need to expand more information about the spirits and their abilities , they just didn’t say much about them), and the second villain will be an adventurer who was once a member of Freya’s family, who betrayed her 20 years ago, and who was able to increase his level to 8 (yes, I know it’s strange, I just want the villain was an ordinary person, not universal evil, etc.). You can also reveal the history of the old Persians through all these future events, the emergence of new Persians associated with these characters: Welf, Mikoto, Cassandra, Daphne, Ryu, Takemezuchi, Loki, Finn, Lunoir, Aiz, etc.; Expand the world of Danmachi: add more details about states and cities in the world of Gekai; tell some events that happened in the past and recently. You can also make more opportunities in magic and more, for example, we have the Blood of Crozzo, which allows you to create better magical weapons, and this ability is hereditary, right? Then you can add more innate techniques and other things. It is also better to reveal the potential of curses as force or magic. And I can’t explain further, it’s too complicated and unclear.
Can this spell can also be use on other single type of magic spell? Like for example if Haruhime will learn a new spell like another status boost spell she can also multiply it and cast on 5 different people? Or this is just exclusive for Uchide no Kuzuchi?
So I'm making a diminishing returns calculator on basic stats.
As a level 1 with fresh stats (I0) does 600 runs into the dungeon be a realistic amount of time for someone to go I0 into S999?
Strength : I0 → S999
Vitality : I0 → S999
Dexterity : I0 → S999
Agility : I0 → S999
Magic : I0 → S999
Since I began to participate in this wiki, I have seen that there are certain recurring doubts about this universe that have generated endless debates about it, it is all because the author has never been clear about these issues, being ambiguous and even contradictory about it.
Next, I expose which are the most controversial questions that I have seen, namely:
1. How exactly does leveling work? It has been said and it has been shown that the difference in level, even of a single level, results in an abysmal difference in power, it can be concluded then that the impulse to increase in level is abysmal to generate by itself the gap that is known as level difference.
However, how this boost operates remains a total mystery, I have seen theories about such as: it is a uniform gigantic boost for everyone, others propose that the statistics are added arithmetically or added by multipliers and etc., whatever it is, it's not known officially.
2. How are the statistics reflected in power? Basically the numbers of the statistics indicate in which basic abilities an adventurer is good and in which he isn't, however, how much power each point brings is not clear, for example, in the case that two adventurers of the same level face each other, from what value (number) is an abysmal difference generated? there are several examples in the series that suggest different amounts for this value, which does not allow knowing how much of an advantage a high status has against a low status.
There is also the issue of how stats from previous levels are reflected in the current level. In the novels it is literally said that the statistics of previous levels affect the current level, but Bell is the only known case, as far as I know, where this phenomenon has been evidenced, which allows me to conclude that for a previous statistic to be reflected must be very high (SS, SSS), however, the matter is up in the air.
3. How powerful is Bell really? This question is a direct consequence of the previous one, many of us think that Bell has a power above his level, even with stats at 0, in fact that is the official position of this wiki, however, there are users who do not admit it, They are of the opinion that Bell needs high stats for the boost to give him higher level power.
Also, even assuming that he does indeed have a full level boost or more, the question remains as to how big it is: level and a half, level and three quarters, almost two levels? ...indeterminate.
4. what is the real range of the skills and magic in the statuses? Many skills and/or magic increase a particular basic ability or even the entire status, but how much is never specified, the status pages only contain the minimum details to know what the skill consists of but not how it works and this is where we start to see a very clear tendency of the author towards the omission of information, it is particular and highly questionable that in the recent status pages they no longer even contain the descriptions, only the mere names, it is worth asking what is the cause of this.
These 4 previous questions are directly related to the system of power, my theory about why Omori has never resolved them is because ambiguity favors creative freedom, it is like when a politician gives vague answers during an electoral campaign, by not taking clear positions, he can do/write what he wants and he can't be accused of contradicting himself because nothing was ever firmly established.
Lastly, the only issue not directly related to the power system is the ranking of the strongest adventurers. This has really given us something to talk about, I would dare to say that it is the most debated topic in this wiki, at least since I joined. Omori has only said that Ottar is the strongest of all, and that Finn is the strongest of the Loki family, both things are obvious if we look at their statuses and if we consider that they are the captains, but for everyone else there is only uncertainty.
If we analyze the novels, in the few scenarios in which the strongest have faced each other, we see a deliberate omission of information and development by the author, for example, both in the Freya episode and at the end of volume 17 we saw clashes between the Freya and Loki families but they did not go beyond the simple mention, as soon as the fighting began he immediately cut the scenes and did not mention any result in later events and also, if we take into account that absolutely no member of Loki participated in the war game, there is no doubt that Omori does not want to be known who is better than who among them.
On this point I must admit that I can't think of any why, that is, I can't understand what is the problem about they fight one another and there are winners and losers, even more so because that is what the fans wanted to see, hence it is the most debated topic.
The only thing that comes to mind is a forced theory, namely: the fans wanted to see the fights but they all have their favorites who obviously want to see win. In the event that there are losers, the fans of these characters could leave the series, something like Hogni lost against Gareth or Allen, an intense fan of this character like IkariSon would clearly not like it and a follower of the series could leave the franchise.
As a countermeasure for such a scenario, it is best that they do not face each other and it is up to each person to interpret what the power ranking is, where each one can be happy seeing what they want to see. I know it sounds exaggerated but I can't think of any other reason.
In conclusion, the idea of this post is not that you answer my questions, for example that you tell me what your model for leveling up is or what your ranking of the strongest characters is, but rather that you tell me why you think that Omori will never has given clarity to none of these issues.
Or even better, if you think I'm wrong and can deny me and show that Omori has explained in detail any of these issues, I would be happy to know your explanation, for this I would appreciate if you present official information whose veracity is beyond of all reasonable doubt, that is, that it be explicit, not interpretative.
Also, it would be great if you can present any other issue that has generated a lot of debate and that does not have precise resolutions on the part of the author either.

Has anyone else noticed a distinct lack of Danmachi Fanart outside of just drawing the characters as they appear in the LN, Manga, and Anime?
I even used Google Images to try and look up a simple thing that I figured might exist: 'Bell Cranel Mage' and got literally nothing.
Would've figured that at least a few other people would wonder what Bell would look like as a different 'Class', you know?
But nope...just Bell from Anime...sometimes recolored, but that was it.
Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places? If anyone knows where to find a nice amount of Danmachi Fanart that isn't just the characters as they are in Canon, please, let me know!
I have a theory a little different from (bonus points), my theory is that there is no bonus point and if there is it is very small then I think that in danmachi the points of a level are worth at that level, but in other levels it decreases (based on what loki says in SO." higher level stats are worth more than lower levels" ), example:
•level 1: -100 points at level 1
•level 2: -100 points at level 1 are worth 50 at level 2 -100 points level 2
•level 3: - 100 points at level 2 are worth 50 points at level 3
what I'm trying to say is that a certain amount of points from a level 1 are worth less in the next levels because I think, 0 everything when you level up and the past statistics are inherited as a base and taking into account that in the series they always refer the flaw as a type of container and also a stat point at level 1 cannot be gained in the same difficulty at level 2, everything leads to believe that if you have bonus points and a low amount like 100 points more in each stat when going up of level and the difference in quality in the excellence of a level 1 and 2. this also explains why ryu went up 2 levels in vol.18 because thinking that the limit is 999 and difficult fights with risk of death and fights between humans (or other species created by the gods like elves and dwarves) give high-level excelia, and having surpassed the amount of base stat one can have in a level, the same excelle gained in excess level 4 can be passed to the next level, and as ryu it was already a level 4 with several high status and with the various battles in the time that the statuses did not update, making it possible to achieve achievements above your level (battle against jugernaut) that made it possible to go to level 6.
what do you think of this theory in which I try to explain about the level and the statuses and their possible relationship with the status bonuses?
There was no reason for ais to imagine revis as the black dragon other than to draw out the maximum power of her skill, implying how she perceives someone can affect how her skill is used against them. if that is the case, then does it not mean that her skill is usable against anyone whom she perceives as a monster regardless of the their actual race.
Based on description alone, I personally find allen and anya's magic to be the coolest spells in the series.
What do you guys think?
How would the story upto volume 18 of MS and 12 of SO change if Gareth did level up to level 7 after his victory over demi spirit? Author did mention it himself that gareth should have leveled up somewhere right?
I've been reading this wiki for a while now, but only recently discovered this forum, and what I found here shocked me to the point that I had to make an account just to put my own two cents in.
Judging by the posts and comments here right now, it feels like everyone here hates SO, considers it a waste of Oomori's effort, and doesn't see any point in it continuing past SO12.
To start off with, there's absolutely unresolved issues in SO past Volume 12. Has everyone forgotten about the Corrupted Spirit? The one that Revis and Olivas Act both served, "Her", the one that lies below the 60th floor, the one that intervened in the Demispirit fight on the 59th, but Ouranos specifically said had to be dealt with at a later date because they had to deal with Enyo in the present? Well, the later date is now. Oomori was setting this up all the way back then, and now it's time.
Besides that, to me SO fills several functions, both necessary and icing on the cake. It fills in missing pieces from the main series (like why exactly Ais let Wiene go at the end of the Xenos Arc), and gives us perspectives that we wouldn't otherwise see. It's an amazing sidestory IMO. Actually, I don't see it as a sidestory, more like half of the main story that needs to be read in parallel to get the main picture. I actually did that recently, read SO, the main series, and the SO manga simultaneously, and it's great to watch the same events unfold from multiple perspectives. Speaking of the SO manga, I think it's the single best Danmachi content out there; it adds a lot and makes both the main series and SO feel a lot more emotional and alive.

as everyone who is passionate about the danmachi universe knows, on the floors below the 59th floor there is a corrupted spirit that has been appearing in SO since the 4th volume, so it would be possible that in the next expedition of the Loki family, they invite the Hestia family, since many high ranking members like bell, and at some point in the dungeon they are separated from the group aiz or bell or both and goes to the floor with the original corrupted spirit fight him and somehow make him come to his senses giving bell spirit blood or some magic.
would that be possible? after all, the hestia family, this is where Bell's grace is and if he is the last hero, and he has to conquer the last floor of the dungeon how could he accomplish this without an up in his base power how could he go there if not even the Zeus family and ivy couldn't and they had level 8 and 9 adventurers.
Tbh I think she will. But If she does, will she become a level 5 when her status is updated? She was already one of the strongest lv4 adventurers before decimating the Rudra Familia so at that point her stats were already high and would be higher after said killing. Then if you add what happened in her arc aka surviving and killing the Juggernaut while being on the brink of death as her grand feat you a really high posibility of her leveling up, if the status gets updated that is.
"if the moonlight conditions are met and the magic is released, Bete is probably stronger at this time."
is this comparison aginst ais ariel+avenger aginst bete moon+hati??
