Never Fall Down (
Summary[]
As she fell, Riveria cast Veil Breath on Lefiya to protect her as Tiona deflected a shot aimed at her with her sword. A group of Ill Wyverns started attacking them so Bete went to fight them while Tione protected Lefiya. Ais also wanted to go but Finn forbade her as they needed her to fight the new species so they continued the normal route while Finn left Gareth in charge of them. Raul felt guilty but Riveria told him not to do it since they would punish him more than enough once they got back and instructed him to keep his guard up.
Bete and Tiona continued to fight the Ill Wyverns realizing that one was a strengthened species. Seeing this, Lefiya asked Tione to let her take care of it and started her concurrent chant, which surprised them, to cast Arcs Ray, managing to kill the monster. Bete ordered Tiona to block another fireball, she told him it hurt but he told her to shut up and do it. After that he absorbed the magic with his Frosvirt and killed a Valgang Dragon with one kick, having finally reaching the 58th Floor. Tiona came after him followed by Tione along with Lefiya who cast Fusillade Fallarica as soon as she arrived, although she was unable to kill the monsters. Noticing this, the group prepared to face them but, before they could do so, Gareth arrived. A dragon tried to attack him with its tail, however, he grabbed it and started spinning it around until he finally threw it at the rest of the dragons.
After that, he told them that they still had to defeat the rest of the monsters. They asked him if he wasn't enough but he responded by telling them there was no way he could repeat that multiple times. At that moment a group of Virgas began to arrive from the corridor that led to the 57th Floor and the group, after deciding that they would hold them until the rest arrived, went to confront them.
