Summary[]
On the 52nd Floor, Finn's group made their way through it, killing the monsters that got in their way. Raul felt guilty about the situation he had put Lefiya in but knew she was safe with the others. Tsubaki noticed they were no longer being attacked from below and asked if it was thanks to Gareth and the others which Finn said was likely. When they got to the 53rd Floor Finn noticed that the new species still hadn't been drawn to them even though Ais had used Ariel several times which was strange. At that moment, a large group of Virgas led by Ein arrived and fired a large amount of acid forcing them to change to another corridor. After doing so they were ambushed, forcing them to move to another corridor again.
After changing Finn declared that they would face them and ordered the supporters to line up three shields which Ais used to support herself and use Lil Rafaga to kill all the Virgas in one attack. Ein was able to dodge at the last moment but Finn attacked them, easily outmaneuvering Ein, so they called some Violas to attack him. Raul shot an arrow at Ein which didn't hurt them, but allowed Tsubaki to attack them and cut off their arm. After this Ein made a Viola take them in its mouth. While fleeing, Riveria cast Wynn Fimbulvetr freezing all the Violas, however, inside the one that was carrying Ein there was only their cloak, which meant that they had been able to escape. Finn decided to prioritize regrouping with the others so they continued on their way to the 58th Floor.
On the 58th Floor, the Loki Familia group watched in surprise as the Virgas attacked the other monsters, wondering if it was common on those floors. Gareth noticed that they were heading towards the 59th floor which made him wonder if that was their destination or if they were heading towards a deeper floor. Finn's group finally arrived and, with the entire group reunited, they were able to clear the floor. As they rested, Tione asked Finn if something was wrong and Finn replied that, according to the records left behind by the Zeus Familia, the 59th Floor was known as the Glaciar Territory with the cold being able to freeze the movements of even a first class adventurer. However, they weren't feeling any cold coming from it. Tione asked him if he thought something was going on and he replied that he wasn't sure but he didn't think the Zeus Familia had exaggerated. After that, he ordered to check their supplies and announced that they would be down in an hour.
In the corridor that led to the 59th Floor they noticed that, instead of cold, there was heat and humidity. When they finally arrived what they saw was a huge jungle with Violas hanging from the ceiling. As they advanced, they came across an open space where there was a Jewel Fetus that seemed to have parasitized a Titan Alm. They noted that the Violas and Virgas were allowing it to eat their magic stones and that the ashes around it were from dead monsters, meaning that it was a strengthened species. Noticing their presence, the monster let out a loud scream which stunned everyone and transformed, revealing a beautiful woman on top. The woman started calling Ais referring to her as Aria. Meanwhile, Ais stood still, unable to believe that the being in front of her was a Spirit.
In the Room of Prayer, Fels called Ouranos. He answered, saying how in the times before the Gods came down from Heaven, the Spirits had followed their will and helped the heroes. Despite being eaten by a monster and having its existence twisted, this one was able to retain its identity, becoming a fusion between a child of the Gods and a monster, a Corrupted Spirit.
